I am a writer, producer, director, and editor – sometimes all at the same time – in the world of film, television, marketing, and advertising. I currently serve as Director, Production and Client Relations for TeamPeople, a national creative services company, and have worked as a writer, producer and director of mostly-short-form content and other projects for a wide range of clients, such as The College Board, Novartis, The Juilliard School and the American Alpine Club.

As a screenwriter, I’ve worked as a script and story consultant for production companies and projects both here and in the U.K., and have written several original scripts for both TV and Film, some of which have almost actually been produced.

I started out as an opera singer at Mason-Gross (Rutgers University), performing in several semi-professional productions during and after college. I soon switched gears to theatre and playwrighting, and I attended the Two-Year Acting program at LAMDA as the Lee Strasberg Scholar, where I trained with directors and writers from the RSC and National Theatre.

Following LAMDA, I acted in tiny little stuff in the New York theatre world, and began to work behind the scenes. I was fortunate enough to write a few plays, and direct or assistant-direct several productions including “The Last of Mrs. Lincoln,” “Hamlet,” and Neil LaBute’s “Some Girls” (Off-Broadway, directed by Jo Bonney), where I got to work as an acting coach to Fran Drescher.

I also began working more as a writer and video editor around the same time, and after a spell of ever-increasing freelance work, I fell into a staff position at Yahoo! Studios, where I stayed for five extremely-corporate years as the in-house producer, director and editor for East Coast Originals content. While at Yahoo, I enrolled at the TV Writers Studio, where I studied screenwriting with Norman Steinberg (of blessed memory), a writer of Blazing Saddles and My Favorite Year, and Stephen Molton, a former development executive at Showtime.

I am religiously involved with mountains and climbing them, I play ice hockey when my knees allow me to, and I love travel, photography, and any combination of the above. I reside in New York (really, New Jersey) with my beautiful and supportive wife and our two crazy children.
